Back to the Future exploit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WChyupk-afE

Found that if Tamir sees a dead body, he'll go back to the souk and do his scripted route/speeches. During the scene he teleported to one of the merchants (first time I did this he didn't teleport but rather was out of synch with the scene). Afterward he walks away.

Templar vs Templar - Guard Assisted Assassination on Tamir

Time for what would have been an impossible way to kill a target in the first Assassins Creed: Have his health taken out single-handedly by another character. If you aren't familiar with guard factions and their ability to engage in combat with one another, check this out first.

Templar vs Tamir

The regular Saracen guards are a different faction than the target Tamir. He appears to belong to the same faction as other similarly dressed guards at his assassination. At first I tried getting the guards in the area to kill Tamir, but even after so many hits he wouldn't die. Later I realized a Templar could do the job.

Luckily one is located pretty close Northeast of the bazaar. My original plan was to get Tamir to fight other guards and have those guards chase me to the Templar, but when that happened the Templar only went after me. So instead I'll lead the Templar to Tamir.

The route I take out of the place is in the Northwest, by where the target emerges from. Guards are eliminated along the way, then after getting the Templar's attention, backtrack the way you came.

The place I chose to "confess" (aka activate battle mode) the target is a corner where he'll take notice while chewing out one of the merchants. Make sure you are close to the wall out of sight and that the guard is in plain view of the target. With the Templar it was tricky because he chases you from the other side away from the target. I fixed that with a grab and throw, but high level Templars can counter those, and illegal actions will draw the attention of nearby enemies. I got detected a lot by Tamir.

WR Blitzes for Tamir and Talal

In this video I demonstrate new world record blitzes for Tamir and Talal, as well as a super consistent way of escaping without hiding after the Tamir assassination. Actually, all of the stuff in the video is really consistent. I shave off almost half a second from the current WR on Tamir (1.03s versus 0.6s) and almost two seconds on Talal (24.00s versus 22.3s). I'll talk a bit about the setups and methods I use below.

Tamir 16-bar Stunt

This little video was literally years in the making. Ian and I recorded 16-bar stunts (where you lose 16 bars of health - the maximum before death) on every target except Tamir. There were two big obstacles: having 16 bars of health to lose this early in the game (Memory Block 2), and designing a stunt on Tamir after he's been aggravated. You see there aren't any suitably high towers in the Souk.

Losing City Alert and Tamir's Early Death

http://youtu.be/WChyupk-afE

Losing City Alert
A new easy setup for restarting an assassination mission. Put simply, desynchronize while autosaving. Why? Because while desynching you aren't under city alert. And since the game records you being under city alert why wouldn't it keep track that you're not? The way I did it was fall into water after talking to a saved citizen, but there are probably other ways. After respawning you no longer have city alert and can reinitialize the memory by going through one of the city gates. Now the fun begins.

Tamir's Early Death
As a result of Back to the Future Exploit, Tamir walks around randomly after accepting the mission. He can still detect you, and the memory corridor scene can be started. One thing to also note is Tamir spawns back at the assassination location when you get within a certain area of it. So what happens if he spawns back while you assassinate him? You appear at the prestaged location, which also contains the character Tamir kills in the cutscene.

Instant Kill
Reinitialize the memory by going through one of the city gates. Since Tamir is no longer recognized as a target by the game, taking out his health won't result in the memory corridor scene. Then talk to the bureau leader to restart the mission. Afterwards Altair teleports to kill because the game recognizes Tamir as a target. Tamir was killed in the place where the assassination takes place, and from that far away he glitched under the ground. Now Altair is stuck in limbo, spawning where he killed the target.

This is just my take on the save citizen objective for the first district, I had no real objective or rules for this and it will be a part of a project im doing called Breaking the AI.

Basically I try make the guards kill themselves, or use the environment to my advantage to make it easier. I use tall ladders to get easy hidden blade assassinations from behind.

Some of them im not happy with ( like the bureau, I wanted all 3 to fall in ) but the game autosaves after you kill the last guy.

I also show an alternative way into the city, although im sure most of you know it.

Tamir's Unseen Kill

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4Li1uDpPFg
[From the forums. - stabguy]

This is as close to a ghost run as possible in the mission where you kill the first target Tamir in memory block 2 Damascus.

Setup
Before the assassination mission do the save citizen mission closest to the area. I know this isn't stealthy and seems to violate the ghost run, but it's a side mission, not a part of the actual assassination mission. Besides, it's designed so that you are automatically detected and have to kill the guards. And you have to do this to make the ghost run work. Once you kill the guards (I did on a rooftop to avoid other guards) don't talk to the citizen. Instead gentle push her to the assassination area. When I first originally did this I didn't move her until after, but the second time I failed the mission from being too far away from the target.

Unseen Kill
Start the scene and wait. Notice how the save citizen is standing there waving for me to talk to her. Once the scene ends gentle push her into the path of the target, in this case right by a table with a merchant he stops to talk at. When Tamir is in range assassinate (duh). Notice how a guard standing nearby reacts to the kill. After the memory corridor scene immediately start locking on. The thing is when you perform a kill animation on an enemy you can still lock onto them until their body goes limp. However you have a brief moment between when the body goes limp and a message appears to be anonymous. Since the save citizen is right next to you you lock onto her. When the message appears you can still hear her talking. Now what has changed? Well no guard comes after you. The guard who has reacted to you killing Tamir seems to have forgotten and doesn't even notice the body right away. Another guard comes and notices the body but doesn't come after you. You can leave that area without once having been detected and without killing anyone but the target during the mission.

The Turkey Shoot: The goal in these assassinations is to immobilize the target so that you can easily stab him/her with the hidden blade. Of course, the developers never intended such assassinations to be possible, so you have to rely on several exploits in order to pull off these types of assassinations.

Here are video walkthroughs for the assassinations shown in "The Turkey Shoot".

Here are some extremes of hiding in plain sight.

William: After William is done lecturing his men, he goes to his desk to study a map. You can climb down behind William and blend right next to him. If you bump into the table, William will notice you, so you need to be careful as you approach the table. In this video, I line up Altair's shoes with William's shoes to ensure that Altair doesn't bump the table.
