The first Assassination Target is most easily killed by Meditating until nightfall, after which he will always go to sleep at this specific area in the corner of this fortress. The guards posted outside each of his doors can easily be ghosted and then it's just a matter of kicking him in the face and triggering the Memory Corridor / the Duat conversation.
