The Hidden Blade Assassin's Creed in Depth

This video took some time so thanks for watching it. You have no idea how many retries i had to do to do the whole thing without being seen.

However every time i attack the target, my PS3 freezes. Also i was wondering if it is possible to air assassinate him from the mast without being seen? I did it before but i was seen.

The goal is to shoot Dante Moro and Silvio Barbarigo from as far away as possible. This mission relies on the unusual mechanics of the hidden gun. You need to be within 15 m to lock onto a target. Once locked on, you can maintain that lock if you remain within 30 m. If you start to aim the gun at your target while you are locked on, you will be able to maintain your aim. The shot will hit its mark as long as nothing obstructs the path of the bullet, regardless of how far the target travels from you.

Here are 3 ways to kill Checco quickly without being detected.

Dive underneath the canal grate to cross the city walls quickly. Transition to fast walk as you pass through the group of people standing by the fast travel station. You remain blended for several seconds after you emerge from this group, which gives you time to approach Checco unnoticed.

The goal is to empty the Sistine Chapel without being detected. You can use a similar process to wield the Papal Staff as a weapon to kill others; this is shown at the end.

The goal of this mission is to kill every guard in the Doge's Palace and Carlo Grimaldi without being seen at all. That means no yellow bars over your opponents.

Most of my videos start at the checkpoint immediately before the assassination mission. This missions starts earlier - at the checkpoint when you land on the roof.

Altaïr returns to Acre in Assassin's Creed II with some slightly different skills. Gone are nine of the ways to wield the hidden blade: low profile, high profile, running, prone, hidden blade counter and taunting penalty. However, he has acquired some new skills. Namely those that he passed along to Ezio through the Codex:

Ghost
The goal is to kill every opponent you that can reach in the "Having a Blast" (Marco Barbarigo) mission without being seen. That means no yellow bars whatsoever. To keep it challenging, I don't use anything other than the hidden blade. This mission is basically the same as the Silent Crash of Carnivale, but on steroids:

Silent Night at Emilio's Palazzo
The goal is to kill every opponent in Emilio's Palazzo without being detected. Just for fun, I also stay entirely unseen in this mission. That means no yellow alert bars over the opponents. Also, no smoke bombs and a minimal throwing knives, just to keep it challenging.

You may need to get the first patch for AC2, which was released December 2009.
