This guy went back to the Auditore Palazzo in Florence during Sequence 13... and found the ghosts of his family! Viewable only in Eagle Vision though, it looks like. And Maria and Claudia are there... hmm. Some sort of glitch. Pretty interesting though.

I think it's another hint to a replay feature.

Nice find. I'll make a video at some point and put it in the FAQ.

Yeah, noticed that too. I entered it, seen the ghost's, after i left, i've seen an icon showing up on the map. It was just for 2 seconds or so, then it disapeared.

Here's something else to consider: Eagle Vision plays no role in this easter egg. There are two key factors in this. One is that Ezio himself is not blue during the easter egg, indicating no eagle vision. The other is that the doctor visible from the gate is not highlighted as blue, also indicating no eagle vision. So what is actually happening?

The only possible conclusion I see is something involving the bleeding effect. When we did the training exercise before the Acre level, we got many bleeding effect glimpses of somewhat ghosts/hallucinations. These figures resembled those of that we see outside of the Pallazo Auditore, which leads me to believe the bleeding effect is at fault here in some way.

What I do not understand is why Claudia and Maria are present. Perhaps this easter egg is simply a flashback for Ezio rather than seeing ghosts, but there are still many unanswered questions at the moment.

Thats kind of scary Ghost
Well I agree with you FLAE, maybe it is due to the bleeding effect, but then why doesnt Desmond react to any of those visons?

That's what I don't understand. It's not really the bleeding effect if he's still in the animus, but it's clearly not the fault of Eagle Vision either. I think the best bet is that Ezio's simply having a flashback of happier times, which explains why he sees Claudia and Maria as well.

question. is this a glitch or an easter egg?

sort of reminds me of a similar thing in Final Fantasy 7 when you can see the ghost of Aeris in her church

It's an Easter egg - the effect looks different from any other Eagle Vision.
