Hi everybody,

I have already completed this game many moons ago on the PS3 platform.

I haven't played it for quite a while and having just finished AC3 and bought AC4 for PS3, I thought it might be a good idea, (I don't know why!), to get hold of a PC version of AC1 and play through it again.

I just need to know if anyone else has had any problems with the PC version before I start.

I am using a laptop. I am running in Windows 7. I have an i5 processor. I think my graphics cards etc. are advanced enough to cope - they ought to be, the computer is younger than the game!

I bought the game off Amazon and a very reasonable price of just over £7.00. It was sealed in cellophane, so I am assuming it is brand new, but there wasn't any documentation with it, i.e. a booklet. I did have one with the PS3 version - do you think this is a pre-used that has been resealed?

I have ordered a game controller, basically because I don't want to wear my keyboard out.

So can anyone give me any heads up on the PC version based on the information I have given?

Any advice will be gratefully received.

My AC: Directors Cut from Walmart has a booklet. I used Mouse and Keyboard perfectly fine.

I had no problems with AC1, and it was on a Win 7 with a Dual Core from 2 gens ago desktop; the graphics card at the time could run Brotherhood on Medium (my benchmark game). I beat the storyline in a couple of weeks of irregular play.
