It's about time, actually. It's getting old seeing the same ancestors when we're supposed to see new faces in a game about history.

I am just glad that this Ezio stint has been part of the AC2 section, and not actual sequels in that sense. It's good to develop characters, expecially ones that most (MOST) fans like. And I'm glad that they've used this time to refine the game before making a final push with all that they've learned for AC3, rather than no games at all.

And anyways, this topic is not about wanting them to stay, it's about the way we'll feel when we let them go.

If we liked both of them, anyways.

Altair: I have changed my opinion on him based entirely on the non-AC1 media he's been involved in. He's inventive and smart, and his character gets so much better immediately after the events of AC1.

Ezio: Loved him when he was young, loved his maturity and actually good thinking when he let Rodrigo go at the end of AC2 (Rodrigo was totally freaked out, and was going to just leave Ezio alone. Cesare would have attacked even if Ezio had killed him.) Above all, I loved his sense of playfulness and his actual enjoyment of his incredible skills. Too many games have scowling protagonists that can do amazing things and just whine about what they're doing the whole time. Ezio is one of my favorite video game characters ever, and I will miss him.

Hopefully the next ancestor is unique from and can stand up to the legacy of these dudes.

And hopefully the reason that Desmond needs to search through his memories is not super contrived, now that Desmond has the means to kick butt IRL.

the posts a bit guy

Altair: Although he was a massive influence on the Assassin Order, he was rather flat. As an audience, we didn't get to know him very well on a personal level. Hopefully, that will change in Revelations.

Ezio: Reminds me of the protagonist in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Fun, playful, matured, and serious. One of the most fleshed out characters in a long time.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which
