AC IV - Contracts

Seeing as though the last video I posted on this site was front paged, I just thought you guys might appreciate the current series of AC IV videos I'm doing... Pls feel free to leave a comment, give feedback and ask questions.

Awesome videos. I watched the Arroyos contracts video and I have to say that you are quite the fast and efficient killer! I especially liked the way you handled those first 3 kills in the first contract. Although I myself am more of a stealthy/only the target needs to die kind of killer.
I'd love to see you make videos with story assassinations.
Thx man ... I did think about just killing the contract target in these vids, but I wanted to make it more challenging.
Although I was thinking about maybe making a series of videos, where I do all the main assassination missions from every game, only killing the templar target (so that it works in the context of the storyline).
I used to post contracts from AC2 on this site as well, I might check yours out soon for AC4. Do you add any extra challenges or restrictions in your videos?
I'm watching this on my HDTV with some Energy Tea and a chocolate bar, and I absolutely love what you do. It's beautiful. It makes the game entertaining without emphasis on Story/Plot, and you show Character, or your interpretation of Edward's character through the gameplay itself. No HUD Elements and the Constraints you put on yourself only serve to make it more entertaining. I'm in the middle of the first video right now, and I'll watch the rest of them in one go tonight.

The main challenges I set for myself in these videos are... kill all guards within the restricted areas and leave the contract target till last.
The restrictions are...
.No cheats
.No eagle vision
.No HUD items
.Minimise blowpipe usage
.No berserk darts
.No stealth outfit
.Complete in one play through (no edits)
I also try to use as many different kill animations as possible, this occasionally means breaking the "stay out of combat bonus" by entering into combat mode (purely for more kill variety), but I only allow myself to do this if I go straight into a combo and the guards don't ever get a chance to do anything, or if I tackle a guard and then kill him while he's incapacitated on the ground.

Sounds like my kind of thing, il watch it soon. I also did this for AC1, it was surprisingly fun to do.
Have you considered doing this for ACB? The borgia towers are great to do this kind of stuff on, I did loads of vids on that I recommend you give that a shot as well. The Templar Dens... not so much but its still fun.

I did recently buy all the previous AC games, super cheap on steam, so I will definitely check out "borgia towers" and "templar dens"... you also mentioned that you made videos of AC 2 contracts, I wouldn't mind watching them... What's your YouTube channel?
...I deleted it a while back, I had some interesting mysterious deaths that Ian inspired me to do.
The challenge is simple, poison your target without being seen by anyone else and escape the area, you cannot kill any guards at all or active the social status indicator in the slightest way. AC2 is great for this I recommend you give those a shot as well.
However after being sorta let down by the latest generation of games in terms of what to put out there in youtube, I am considering redoing gameplay videos from old games I used to play. At the moment I am doing a Ghost Run on MGS2, I will give out my YT once I have something worthy of showing people.
Shame, would of liked to see AC 2 contracts played with a bit more care and attention than the usual youtube video's.
You should definitely redo gameplay vids of the old games, I will certainly be revisiting them at some point.

While we are on the subject of older games, I have an idea for Arkham Asylum. It would be cool if the idea works, since there doesn't seem to be much in depth gameplay on Youtube except for world records in challenge maps.
The stair toss at the end was truly epic.
